Yay yay yay!
I got two really awesome packages, I did!Seen my previous entry, I got two packages today.. I was SO excited once I saw one was from Pullip Style! I knew what both would have, so I decided to open the other one from an eBay dealer first, afterall.. save the best for last! My DOA KT figures came! They are really awesome. I was a little dissappointed in the faces, but with figures the flyers ALWAYS look amazing compared to the actual product. XP I got them at a steal, only $20 for the entire set, in their boxes! I mostly bought them for Ayane, but Leifang, Kasumi, and Hitomi look great too! I really love Leifang! Reminds me of when I used to go ga-ga over her. I was even going to name China after her! Before my Ayane obsession..They are really so cool. They come with so many differant parts, I was really surprised! Each comes with two faces, 4-6 hands, a stand, and extra parts like Kasumi's weapon and Ayane's bow. I was originally just going to get the Ayane ones from a dealer, but that would have been $14 for both. So why not spend the extra $6 to get a whole set! I'm really glad I did. Awesome addition to my collection. I looove poseable figures!I love that shot. ^^Next.. I opened the package I was waiting for most of all!That's right..Which girl?..Ta-da! Anne Shirley! Don't you just love how Pullips look in their box? I always think "how much is that dooggy in the window.." when I see them. I couldn't wait to take her out.. I was very surprised!! She is SO much more gorgeous than photos show. Some Pullips really do that, like Chicca, and LRRH.. their beauty is a little harder to capture on film than most. Anne's eyes are not as harshly bright as they are in real life.. she is gorgeous!I love that last pic! Her little Bloomers are so adorable.. and I can practically hear Himeko, my Chicca, screaming with joy in the background because she finally gets her Anne boots! I'm glad I held out from buying them because I ended up getting her anyway! Now I can finally punk Himeko up like I've been wanting.About her.. well, this girl's going to have her hair straightened and later on (when I feel brave enough XD) cut! I think I'm going to straighten it tonight. I didn't plan to have her hair in braids for long. I think I've decided on the name Demitri, XD! I know it's a weird name for such a cute little girl, and that is her personality, but I have this kind of mahou shojou idea for her and (hopefully) Nina. The kind of girl a guy hears about on his quest "Demitri.. HE must be a powerful sorcerer.." but when he finally gets to meet her is in a funny shock over seeing a short little clumsy girl. Haha I'm odd, but I love it! I think Lacolette or Lecolette or something is a nice name for Nina.. for some reason, popped in my head. Have to work out the spelling.It was a lot of work on these pictures.. I hope you guys enjoyed!

I'm so excited for you, Anne is so pretty! I can't wait to see pictures of her with straightened hair.(I think Demitri is a fantastic name for her :D)
Thank you kiwi! ^-^ That means alot.One thing I'm trying to figure out.. is am I supposed to wet her hair when I use a straightening iron. I've tried the iron-to-board method before and it didn't work (maybe our iron is too weak).. so I will try a ceramic one this time.. reading about it right now, but no one seems to mention wet or dry hair. XD
Yay! You got her, I love Anne. She has the cutest freckles. It makes me sad that people sand them away to make her look like Alice. Not that Alice isn't great, it's just that the freckles are so unique, and I'd never sand them off. Maybe it's just me. I love her name and backstory, btw, suits her!I wet the hair when I used a straightening iron, but you can't drench it as it's an electrical appliance and all. But yeah it was damp. Also, I tested it on fallen hair off Mitzi's head to make sure it wasn't warping, curling (or melting) I also used some oil-free moisturizer on the ends mixed with water, and made sure not the keep the straightening iron on all the time; kept turning it off to regulate the heat, too.I had a 'guide' on PS somewhere but it was just a reply to someone's questions about straightening, but it had step by step:http://pullipstyle.com/resource/viewtopic.php?t=1734&start=0It's down there somewhere.
Yeah! It was the FIRST and MAIN reason I ever wanted Anne. Her freckles are adorable and so unique, I loved her JUST because of that.. but once I saw some pictures of her I was hooked. Thanks for the compliment on her! I am already attaching to her! I think giving them a story and name before you have them gives you a chance to already get attached ahead of time hehe.Since I couldn't really find an answer I started on my own. XD It's working great! I'm just heating up the iron and then shutting it off, and straightening it like that. Dry hair since the booklet always says your hair must be completely dry, I didn't want to risk anything. It's looking really good, almost halfway there!!Thanks for your help though ^-^ <3 I'll be posting pics of my dear when she's all done. ^^
Congrats! Anne definitely is a beauty.You're so brave, I still haven't been able to let my Anne's braids down. I think she looks better with her braids out, but I just can't let her lose her stock look ^^;.
Oh you have no idea! I was so scared. I've never ever, out of all my (now) 10 pullips.. got brave enough to even remotely "customize". This is my first time.. I feel really happy though!

Yeah my intent was to get rid of frizzies-- Mitzi's hair is already straight! So I used the water and product to help that.On Panda's hair I did it dry XD But I got bored halfway through.

I found Chicca's 'vibe' to be totally different to her promo, too. My Kiki comes off as more sophisticated than cute; it's weird like that. It's maybe because sha hasn't a lot of eye makeup or something.

Yeah. ^^ Mine's personality is hard to explain, but I think the eyebrows really do something for a Pullip. Like, Fourrure looks like a rockstar in her promo.. but irl I found her demure. XD Which I was happy about too hehe, since that's what I planned her.

Hehe thank you, her eyes are bright but in pictures they stand out so much more than they do in person. In person they actually look sweet and soft! They don't stand out nearly as much as Princi's, and they're even a little brighter than Princi's. They just fit her complexion so well!
Hehe, that's what I wish I could do to my Leaven. "Oh you have frizzies, let me get them out for you!" XD If only my hair straightener automatically crimped her hair, too.Lol yeah my arm started to hurt at the half mark! I got through it though, watched some forensic files and crime shows. Hehe. I am very satisfied, but I think I need to iron it just a bit more.
